1. In a smear stained using the Romanovsky-Giemsa method, blue-violet crimped microorganisms with several large uneven curls are visible. What are these microorganisms?

2. In a smear stained by the method of Romanovsky-Giemsa microorganisms with numerous small curls in the form of the Latin letter "S" are seen, painted in a pink-lilac color. What are these microorganisms?

3. In the preparation of the "crushed" drop with the help of a darkfield method, microorganisms with uniform curls were found. What are these microorganisms?

4. In the preparation of the "crushed" drop, the filaments of the dissected septate mycelium are visible, which, interlacing, form a thick mycelium with one another, from which single-celled conidiophores exit, ending in a fan-shaped extension (conidia). What kind of marsupials are represented?

5. In the preparation of the "crushed" drop, the filaments of the septate mycelium are visible, from which the conidiophores leave in the form of a "brush". What kind of mushrooms are represented?

7. In the study of sections from the cornea of the rabbit eye infected with vaccinia, microscopic examination in epithelial cells near the nuclei revealed inclusions of a rounded corpuscle. Which corpuscles found inclusions of a round-shaped corpuscle. What are the bodies found and what are they?

Lesson№ 4.

1. Topic: Nutrition, respiration, growth and reproduction of bacteria. Nutrient media and their classification. Scheme of the bacteriological method of investigation. The study of the growth pattern of various bacterial cultures on liquid and dense nutrient media. The release of a clean culture of aerobes and anaerobes. (1,2 day of the study).

2. Aim: To master the vital activity of microbial cells, the processes of their nutrition, respiration, growth, reproduction, patterns of interaction with the environment. To master the technique of preparation of nutrient media for the cultivation of microorganisms, methods for the isolation of pure cultures of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, and methods for the identification of pure cultures of bacteria used in the bacteriological diagnosis of infectious diseases.

3. Objectives: To master the technique of seeding with a bacterial loop, a needle, a pipette, a spatula. Sow the test material on artificial nutrient media. To teach methods of preparing nutrient media, sowing isolated colonies of microorganisms on nutrient media in order to obtain a clean culture.
