XVII. Translate the sentences into Russian, paying special attention to the translation of modal verbs and their equivalents.

1. В Великобритании транспорт может двигаться только по левой стороне дороги.

2. Ей удалось поместить (get) сына в дорогую частную школу, хотя он не мог решать элементарные арифметические задачи.

3. Вместо лежания на диване ты мог бы сделать что-нибудь полезное. Например, объяснить брату, через что ему придется пройти, чтобы получить высокооплачиваемую работу.

4. – Может работодатель попросить рекомендации от моих университетских преподавателей?

– Конечно, может. Лучше взять их заранее.

Your group represents a small travel agency specializing in sending people to the attraction. Make up an advertisement for it and present it to the class. See how many clients (classmates) you will persuade to go.
