Thank you for your letter of April 19, 2007, in which you enclosed our latest price list and catalogue.

We are sure, that the quoted terms, including a 12% trade discount are acceptable and our visit to your stand at the EXPO-2007 in Hannover convinced us that the “Thinking Screen” will meet our requirements.

We therefore send our official order No. 78-AC for 50 “Thinking Screens”.

As this is the first time we are doing business together, we suggest that payment should be made by Doumentary Credit. We will instruct our bank to open a Documentary Credit in your favour. The terms are CIF Vancouver, and your own bank will inform of the type and number of documents required.

This order is subject to delivery before August 31, 2007 and we reserve the right to cancel the order and/or return the goods at your own risk and expense at any time after this date.

We look forward to receiving our order and doing further business with you in future.

RE: New Monthly Reporting System

We’d like to quickly go over some of the changes in the new monthly sales reporting system that we discussed at Monday’s special meeting. First of all, we'd once again like to stress that this new system will save you a lot of time when reporting future sales. We understand that you have concerns about the amount of time that will be initially required for inputting your client data. Despite this initial effort, we
are confident that you will all soon enjoy the benefits of this new
system.

Here is a look at the procedure you will need to follow to complete your area's client list:

- Log on to the company web site at http://www.picklesandmore.com

- Enter your user ID and password. These will be issued next week.

- Once you have logged on, click on "New Client".

- Enter the appropriate client information.

- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have entered all of your clients.

- Once this information has been entered, select "Place Order".

- Choose the client from the drop down list "Clients".

- Choose the products from the drop down list "Products".

- Choose the shipping specifications from the drop down list "Shipping".

- Click on the "Process Order" button.

As you can see, once you have entered the appropriate
client information, processing orders will require NO paperwork on
your part.

Dear Sirs,

I am writing regarding the walking expedition and conference organized by your on August 1-21, 2007. We were very attracted by the idea of combining work and pleasure. However, the reality was very disappointing. 

Your promise, that a representative would meet us at the Heathrow was not kept. Waiting for him caused a lot of confusion and the stress became even worse because of the extremely short time (55 minutes) we had between the flights.

The hotel “Hanging Gardens” in Katmandu should have been “lovely” (according to your leaflets). However, to our great surprise, 7 members of our group could not enjoy its charm because it was overbooked. Finally, alternative accommodation took hours and in the end there was no other solution than to take 3 different hotels, where the level of service was inferior.

As far as the Himalayan expedition was concerned, we did not have enough tents, and the equipment did not correspond to the number of participants.

Finally, the side trip to Sri Lanka became extremely complicated, because it was badly organized. One-day delay on returning to Katmandu and a lack of good connections to Sri Lanka meant, that our stay in Sri Lanka was reduced to only two days.

I feel, we deserve some sort of explanation and compensation for this. Unless we receive a satisfactory answer, we will be forced to put this matter into the hands of our solicitor.
