Джен снова очутилась в своей маленькой однокомнатной квартире, так как врачи отказались держать ее в санатории. Сначала она была счастлива. За ней ухаживали ее любимые Барт и Дорин. Сестра Даггин помогала ей по дому, делая все спокойно и ловко. Но совершенно неожиданно рентгеновские снимки показали, что у Дорин был тоже туберкулез. У Дорин все же было совершенно другое положение. Она когда-то служила в армии. Поэтому ее немедленно послали в специальную больницу. Там ей стало лучше. Барт и Джен остались одни. Они поженились. Но Джен не была счастлива. Она решила, что невозможно связывать Барта по рукам и ногам. Она не хотела быть прикованной к постели и выпила целый пузырек успокоительных таблеток. Сестра Даггин пришла как раз вовремя, чтобы спасти ее.
