Hundred, thousand, million +

five hundred cities-500 городов                hundreds of cities-сотни городов

two thousand books-2000 книг                 thousands of books- тысячи книг

six million schools-6000000 школ            millions of schools-миллионы школ

the first part = part one                       первая часть

the fifth chapter = chapter fife            пятая глава

the ninth paragraph = paragraph nine девятый параграф

the tenth page = page ten                    десятая страница

I usually take bus 5 (bus five) –

He lives in apartment 10 (apartment ten) –

66340224 – double six three four 0 two two four

              в 1995 годуin nineteen ninety-nine = in the year nineteen ninety-nine

              1900 год - nineteen hundred

2000 год – twenty hundred = two thousand

2006 год – twenty hundred and six = two thousand and six = twenty 0 six

15th May, 1948   The fifteenth of May, nineteen forty-eight

              May 15th, 1948                                     или

May 15, 1948         May the fifteenth, nineteen forty-eight.

on 15th May, 1948 on the fifteenth of May, nineteen forty-eight

              on May 15th, 1948                                  или
